Brown will have over 150 receiving yards

Another big reason why Lamar Jackson could erupt against the Vikings is the presence of Marquise “Hollywood” Brown. The speedy receiver is enjoying a breakout season with the advent of an actual passing attack, but the way he’s been utilized will play into Baltimore’s favor.

In the Ravens’ Week 7 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, Brown only posted 80 yards receiving, but he could have had much more. According to PFF’s Ian Hartitz, Brown had 330 air yards when targeted and served as the Ravens’ primary deep threat.

Hartitz also mentions this is a bad sign because Brown is ridiculously fast. While Brown didn’t work out prior to the 2019 NFL Draft due to a foot injury, we’ve seen his Oklahoma tape and it’s much faster than what Cameron Dantzler and Bashaud Breeland put up prior to their entry into the NFL.

With running backs Le’Veon Bell and Devonta Freeman well past their prime, the Ravens have to throw the ball up. Although Baltimore rookie receiver Rashod Bateman and tight end Mark Andrews also pose important mismatches, Brown should be the key beneficiary.
