Vikings Game Sunday: Vikings vs. Chargers odds and prediction for Week 10 NFL game
By Adam Patrick
On the road for the second week in a row, the Minnesota Vikings will attempt to avoid another loss when they take on the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
After the first half of last week’s matchup with the Baltimore Ravens, the Minnesota Vikings were up seven points, and it felt like they were on their way to a victory over a very talented opponent.
However, dynamic quarterback Lamar Jackson helped the Ravens recover from a 14-point deficit in the third quarter to hand the Vikings a heartbreaking loss in overtime.
This week, Minnesota is back out on the road for a meeting with a Los Angeles Chargers team who is 5-3 after their first eight games of the 2021 season.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Los Angeles Chargers prediction Week 10
After going up against one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL in Jackson last week, the Vikings will be facing another one of the league’s top signal-callers on Sunday in Chargers passer Justin Herbert.
In a few games this season, Herbert has proven to be somewhat human, and that played a role in Los Angeles suffering their three losses. So it’s possible that Minnesota could prevent him from chucking the ball all over the field on Sunday.
However, the Vikings struggled to shut down Cooper Rush in his first-ever NFL start under center for the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8. Minnesota’s pass defense has been better this year compared to how they played in 2020, but it just feels like Herbert is going to be too much for them to handle this week.
