We are about halfway through the 2021 NFL season and it’s time to check in and see how the Minnesota Vikings rookies are faring.

The Minnesota Vikings 2021 rookie class had been pretty quiet for the majority of the season. The top pick, offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw was injured and unable to play, and the team was loaded with veteran depth and weren’t really looking to rely on any rookie help, at least not early in the season.

Things have changed in recent weeks. Christian Darrisaw got healthy and was inserted in his rightful place as the team’s left tackle. COVID forced Cam Bynum into a starting job and Kene Nwagnwu also got healthy and the team finally got to see his speed and explosiveness up close and personal against the Ravens.

This class went from zero production to a decent amount in the blink of an eye, and whether or not the team can turn things around from a win-loss perspective at least fans can enjoy watching these young players develop and get better every single week. Here is the Minnesota Vikings 2021 Draft Class midseason report.
