Against their NFC North rivals in Week 11, the Minnesota Vikings left their home field with a thrilling win over the Green Bay Packers.

Matchups against the Green Bay Packers are always some of the difficult games on the schedule for the Minnesota Vikings each season. But on Sunday, the Vikings headed into an NFC North showdown with a Packers team that had won seven of their last eight games.

Green Bay’s recent success didn’t matter to Minnesota as the purple and gold looked like the better team on Sunday. Thanks to some impressive performances from their top offensive players, the Vikings walked off the field this weekend with a 5-5 record after getting a big-time 34-31 win over the Packers.

Jefferson looks unstoppable – Heading into Sunday, the Packers had the NFL’s third-ranked pass defense. That certainly didn’t seem to bother Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson when he lined up against Green Bay’s defenders.

Jefferson exploded in the first half with three catches for 104 yards. He ended up finishing with eight receptions for 169 yards and two touchdowns during the win over Green Bay. Minnesota’s young receiver is continuing to establish himself as one of the league’s elite pass-catchers.

Attention for Jefferson helps others: With how dangerous Jefferson is out on the field, the Packers, unsurprisingly, placed a lot of attention on him this week. The Vikings were able to take advantage of this though on several plays, including when Adam Thielen got a one-on-one situation that resulted in him hauling in a 10-yard touchdown pass to put Minnesota up 16-3 in the second quarter.
