Christian Darrisaw – LT

Christian Darrisaw‘s career with the Vikings started off great. The youngster was thrown into the flame as soon as he was healthy and ready enough to start, and he played well in his first few games. Things have changed during the last few weeks as Darrisaw has ended up on this disappointing list for the second straight week.

Darrisaw had a rough go of it against the Packers and there’s no real way to sugarcoat it. He was overpowered multiple times and was knocked on his hind end more than once. He was paired up against Dean Lowry for the most part and that was a battle that Lowry definitely won.

Darrisaw did have some good moments as he was able to spring some blocks that helped keep Kirk Cousins upright and opened up holes for Dalvin Cook. Overall, he was overpowered and outplayed which was something we haven’t seen happen to the rookie yet.

While Darrisaw has struggled during the last couple of games, there’s no reason to worry. He’s still young and learning the position. He will definitely learn from this game and use it to become a better and more consistent player in the future.
