Justin Jefferson is an absolute freak

It hasn’t even been two full seasons since Justin Jefferson was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings and it’s already clear that he’s the best thing the team has going for them on the offensive side of the ball.

The young receiver put up absolutely monstrous numbers, catching 11 of his 14 targets for 182 yards and a touchdown. What is scary about his performance is that it didn’t feel out of the ordinary for the second-year sensation.

Jefferson moved into third place in the NFL in receiving yards on the season, moving his total up to 1,027 yards. With the news of Adam Thielen suffering a high-ankle sprain, odds are that more targets will keep coming his way going forward.

Minnesota’s record for most receiving yards in a season is 1,632 by Randy Moss in 2003. That means he is only 605 yards and away from that mark with five games to go. If he can stay healthy, that isn’t an impossible number to reach.
