Greg Joseph – K

This may sound crazy but it appears the Vikings have found their kicker. Greg Joseph has been pretty impressive aside from his blunder in their Week 2 loss to the Cardinals. For a team that has struggled to find consistency on special teams, Greg Joseph seems like a safe choice for another season.

He may not be perfect but nobody in the NFL is. The Vikings should be elated with his performance this season and his ability to bounce back after his brutal miss in Arizona is a good sign of his mental toughness.

Moving on from him is not guaranteed to be an improvement. Kicking is a vital aspect of football as the Vikings have come to understand in the worst of ways. Keeping a very good kicker in the building is going to win this team some games in 2022 just as it has done this season.

Minnesota has to take any sort of boost in the kicking game that they can get and Greg Joseph has provided that for the most part. He has hit a career-high 85.7 percent of his field goal attempts and is 6-of-7 from beyond 50 yards this season. That’s an astounding mark for any kicker, let alone one that holds that title for the Vikings.
