The Minnesota Vikings have had some players who have failed to step up during the 2021 season, yet they aren’t getting called out for it.

The Minnesota Vikings have had a confounding season. Almost every game the Vikings have played this year has come down to the wire, with many of them being decided on the very last play of regulation.

Poor play from a bunch of Minnesota players has contributed to these close finales. Those members of the Vikings roster have gotten fingers pointed at them, and they’ve been called out by various media sources.

While the usual culprits like Bashaud Breeland, Oli Udoh, and Garrett Bradbury are receiving plenty of blame, some Minnesota players are escaping scrutiny.

The reasons for this vary. Maybe they are new to the Vikings, and the honeymoon phase is still in effect. Or perhaps they are still a young player who is getting a pass as they continue to develop and hone their skills. Whatever the reason, these guys also deserve blame for Minnesota’s unfortunate 6-7 record this year.

So here are four Vikings who deserve to get called out for their substandard performances this season. These players aren’t getting nearly the amount of criticism they deserve, and it’s time to hold these unsung zeros accountable.
