4 veteran corners the Vikings could sign to replace Bashaud Breeland

Daryl Worley (Free Agent)
With the 2021 regular season close to being over, there aren’t exactly prized free agents left on the market. However, there are still some guys that the Vikings could potentially get some decent production out of for their defense, and Daryl Worley would fall into that category.
One thing that Worley has going for him is his experience in the NFL. He was picked in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers and after parting ways with the Panthers, he’s had stints with the Philadelphia Eagles, Las Vegas Raiders, Buffalo Bills, Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys, and Detroit Lions.
It probably wouldn’t take Worley very long to learn the defensive scheme that Minnesota currently runs since the Raiders used a similar scheme when he was there in 2018 and 2019 when Paul Guenther was the team’s defensive coordinator (Guenther is currently a senior defensive assistant with the Vikings).
During those two seasons with the Raiders, Worley allowed a completion rate under 60 percent to his coverage in each year. At the very least, he’s someone who could improve Minnesota’s corner depth even if they don’t want to bring him in as a starter.
