4 veteran corners the Vikings could sign to replace Bashaud Breeland

Holton Hill (Cincinnati Bengals practice squad)
Back in 2018, the Vikings took a chance on Holton Hill after he went undrafted. Teams had concerns about some of his off-the-field behavior during his college career, but Mike Zimmer and Minnesota were willing to see if they could help Hill flourish in the NFL.
His time with the Vikings got off to an encouraging start as he showed some flashes of potential as a rookie when opposing quarterbacks only had a completion rate of 54.2 percent and a passer rating of 68.4 when throwing in the direction of the young corner.
But then he was handed a pair of four-game suspensions during the 2019 offseason and everything seemed to spiral in the wrong direction from there.
Minnesota ended up letting him go midway through the 2020 season, and since then, he’s spent time with the Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Cowboys, and most recently, he was added to the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad.
With his experience in their system, maybe the Vikings would be willing to give Hill another shot? Time away to reflect on past mistakes can sometimes help a player improve later on in their career and perhaps this could end up being the case for Hill if Minnesota were to sign him in the near future.
