The Vikings pass offense will show up

Chicago struggles pretty badly against good pass attacks. They have allowed 68.2 percent of passes to be completed (27th), 7.8 yards per pass attempt (T-30th), have allowed (T-29th), and only have five interceptions this year (T-31st).

If those numbers didn’t make you excited enough for the possibility of Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson putting up some nice yardage on Monday night, please consider the Bears have allowed a QB rating of 106.6 (31st).

If the weather can hold up for this game and passing the ball isn’t made difficult, the Vikings should have a big day through the air. At the moment, NFLWeather shows that it will be 35 degrees with a clear sky and 10 mph winds, so that shouldn’t be too much of an issue unless things change.

Expect the Vikings to lead with Dalvin Cook as usual but have more success through the air in this prime-time matchup. This could be a game where Minnesota can get a lead and finish strong, but let’s be honest…it will probably come down to the last drive anyway.
