Can the Minnesota Vikings continue their charge for a playoff spot when they face the Chicago Bears on Monday night?

When it comes to the 2021 Minnesota Vikings, it can never be easy. Despite building a 29-0 lead against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week, the Vikings did their best to have things come down to the final play in a 36-28 victory.

While the Vikings are in the middle of the race for the NFC’s final playoff spot, they are one tired team. With 12 of their 13 games coming down to the final possession, there’s a layer of mental fatigue in addition to their physical ailments.

That makes this a bad time to head to Chicago.

The Bears are grinding through the final weeks of the Matt Nagy era and will be without several key players due to COVID-19 protocols. But they could get a boost playing at Soldier Field, where the Vikings have posted a 5-15 record over their past 20 games in Chicago.

Minnesota needs this win in their push for the No. 7 seed, but it sets up for another unpredictable night. Luckily, we have five bold predictions that will help determine whether the Vikings can exorcise their demons in Chicago.
