C.J. Ham – FB

This is a hard snub because it’s difficult to take anything away from Kyle Juszczyk of the 49ers. He is worthy of the Pro Bowl, but the issue comes in the form of there only being one fullback on each conference’s roster.

Had there been two spots open for fullbacks, C.J. Ham should have been the easy option. He has done a good job as a blocker for Dalvin Cook this year and has been involved in the offense a bit more than in previous years.

This season, he is averaging a career-high 4.9 yards per rushing attempt and has already matched his career-high in rushing attempts through 14 games. He also caught all 13 passes thrown in his direction for 104 yards.

There is no reason the NFL can’t have two fullback spots on a Pro Bowl roster, especially when fans were prompted to vote for six fullbacks. That is a misleading situation when only one player from each conference makes the roster.
