5 Vikings who deserve a lump of coal in their Christmas stocking this year

Garrett Bradbury – C
This was supposed to be the year Garrett Bradbury was going to show why he was the 18th overall selection in the 2019 NFL Draft. He was going to disprove all of his naysayers by getting stronger to hold up in pass protection against the big powerful nose tackles that have been his kryptonite the majority of his young career. This season was kind of seen as his last chance to hold onto his starting job, and despite his improved play of late, Bradbury has failed.
It’s been very much the same story for Bradbury in 2021. He routinely is overpowered and shoved right back into the crotch of Kirk Cousins. He does occasionally make a nice down-the-field block on a screen or sweep, but for the most part, Bradbury spends the majority of the game on his back looking up at the clouds or ceiling panels of whatever stadium he is playing in.
It has gotten so bad this season that Bradbury was fired from his job as the starting center. He was put on the Reserve/COVID-19 list in midseason, and when he was eligible to return, he found his starting job was given to Mason Cole.
Bradbury does deserve credit for recently taking the blame at a presser and publically saying how the benching hurt and has driven him to be better. Maybe that’s the wake-up call he’s needed, but until we see more, no one would shed a tear hearing Bradbury woke up to a lump of coal in his stocking on Christmas morning.
