If it comes down to the Minnesota Vikings having to choose between Mike Zimmer or Kirk Cousins, there are a few reasons why they should go with the head coach.
Two games remain in what could be the final regular season for the Minnesota Vikings with Kirk Cousins and Mike Zimmer both being members of the organization.
If the Vikings don’t end up making the playoffs this year, major changes are likely on the horizon for the franchise, and these changes could result in the team parting ways with Zimmer, or Cousins, or both.
So if Minnesota does wind up missing out on the 2021 postseason, what will they choose to do? End the Cousins experience or tell Zimmer his time as the team’s head coach is over?
If it comes down to choosing one over the other, arguments can be made for both parties. However, we’re going to explore why the Vikings might be better off sticking with Zimmer over Cousins in 2022.
