Stop toying with the emotions of fans

Being a fan of the Minnesota Vikings isn’t for the weak of heart. Every week, Vikings games are bound to do at least one of these things: Make people nervous, make people furious, or shatter their hopes.

Wouldn’t it be nice to watch a game where Minnesota didn’t let their opponents back into games after getting a big lead? The last time the Vikings won by 15 or more points was 748 days ago when they crushed the Chargers during the 2019 season.

But it’s not only the scores that give fans emotional damage, but it’s so much more. Key injuries, legal issues, surprise transactions, strange personnel decisions, and player drama that keeps Vikings fans refreshing their Twitter streams constantly in hopes the team hasn’t imploded.

It’s time for the Minnesota Vikings to become a normal NFL team. Not having the drama and pain of this franchise wearing down its supporters will not only sell more merchandise and put more butts in seats, but it will refresh the hardcore fans who are exhausted from following this roller coaster of a franchise.
