The Minnesota Vikings were dismantled on Sunday Night Football in Week 17 by the Green Bay Packers but there was a lot to learn about this team in the loss.

Week 17 was an important time for the Minnesota Vikings. They needed to beat the Green Bay Packers in order to have a chance at having any sort of scenario that could put them into the playoff picture.

Sadly, this game was controlled by the Packers from start to end. Green Bay took a 20-3 lead at halftime and turned it into a 37-10 shellacking of Minnesota, locking them into the top seed in the NFC while eliminating the Vikings from the playoffs.

Minnesota still has one game left on their schedule. They will take on the Bears at U.S. Bank Stadium in the season finale in a game that has no playoff implications and many of the starters might not be in action.

Before looking too far ahead to Week 18, let’s take a look at what we learned from the Minnesota Vikings losing to the Green Bay Packers and what these events might mean for the team as it moves ahead.
