5 Vikings to be excited about for the 2022 season

If Justin Jefferson isn’t the first player you thought of when you saw the title of this article, then that would be a bit surprising. His first two seasons in the NFL have been exciting, with the young pass-catcher having some amazing games so far.
Jefferson’s superb route running and quickness allow him to get open against even the best defenders in the NFL and if the team switches to a more high-octane offense in 2022, the sky could be the limit for his statistics.
The young receiver is already averaging 90.9 yards per game with 10.2 yards per target through the first two seasons of his career and an impressive 15.2 yards per reception. Plus, he is averaging a little under nine targets per game and could be in store for more looks in the future.
He’s already griddied his way into the hearts of Minnesota Vikings fans and found his way into NFL and franchise record books. There’s no reason to believe he can’t continue to be an amazing asset for this team moving forward.
