5 Vikings to be excited about for the 2022 season

Fans can debate on the circumstances surrounding the contract of Kirk Cousins but it’s hard to argue the fact that he is one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL. And if he remains in Minnesota for the 2022 NFL season, he could be in store for a great year.
The Minnesota Vikings are reported to be moving on from head coach Mike Zimmer. That means it is likely that the entire coaching staff could be seeing an overhaul this offseason. With that, getting a more modern coach with a different philosophy could change things dramatically.
Instead of short passes and running the ball to control the clock and limit possessions, having Kirk Cousins push the ball down the field could result in career-high numbers in terms of passing yards and touchdowns.
Of course, this will rely on who the Minnesota Vikings decide to have as their head coach and offensive coordinator moving forward. The right combination could unlock the best version of Kirk Cousins the purple and gold have ever seen.
