The Minnesota Vikings ended the 2021 NFL season with an 8-9 record but what was learned over those 17 games left a big impact on the franchise.
The 2021 season has come to a close for the Minnesota Vikings. It ended on a high note with the team beating the Chicago Bears in front of fans at U.S. Bank Stadium, but the season as a whole was a rollercoaster of emotion.
Still, missing the playoffs for a second consecutive season is not acceptable. This team is too talented with too many veterans not to be a contender each season but have failed to meet expectations.
A lot of strange things have happened over the past 18 weeks and much of what was learned is either things that will hunt this team for the next few years or could be resolved quickly in order to be ready for the 2022 NFL season.
