This team is unlucky

Was every stadium the Minnesota Vikings have ever played in cursed? Did that curse get amplified in 2021 to make so many things go wrong with a franchise that has experienced a ton of heartbreak over the course of its history? It sure feels that way.

In classic Vikings fashion, they had quite a bit of bad luck with injuries. Minnesota lost both starting pass rushers for the season, were without big men Michael Pierce and Christian Darrisaw for big chunks of the season were hit by COVID-19, and even dealt with some legal issues.

Add some bounces that went the wrong way, kicks that either won or lost games, and some questionable calls by the officials and you have a complete season full of head-scratching and infuriating moments.

It’s time to change the luck in Minnesota. Wouldn’t it be nice for things to go the way the purple and gold faithful would love for it to go? Maybe whatever changes the Vikings make this offseason will help bring positive vibes going forward.
