Adam Peters

There was plenty of speculation linking Adam Peters with the Carolina Panthers in 2021 before the team went with Scott Fitterer. He is vastly experienced in various front office roles and is currently assistant general manager of the San Francisco 49ers.

Peters has been instrumental in working alongside John Lynch and building a playoff contender in San Francisco. The Niners have a nice blend of youth and experience, which snuck back into the postseason following a dramatic Week 18 finale.

It appears as if Peters might be in line for some more interviews this time around. The Minnesota Vikings have a core foundation in place. They just need the right man to improve problem positional groups in a short space of time.

Minnesota or any other team looking for a new general manager should speak with Peters. He has more than two decades of experience, knows how to successfully evaluate college talent, and is ambitious enough to make the most out of whatever opportunity comes his way.

The Vikings might need to act swiftly if they identify Peters as a candidate of interest. However, nothing will be decided for sure until the Niners are formally eliminated from playoff contention.
