Some Minnesota Vikings players may be on the chopping block depending on how the new general manager and head coach evaluate the situation for 2022.

Former Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman and head coach Mike Zimmer worked hard to put together a roster that they thought could be a serious Super Bowl contender on a regular basis.

Now that both those individuals are no longer with the franchise, a new direction and new strategies will likely be installed. With that, some players in the previous regime may find themselves not being part of the plans of the new plans.

Whether they decide to make a youth movement and clear out veterans, cut costs to save money on the salary cap, or just install their own personnel they feel will help this team become a future contender.
