The Minnesota Vikings have recently opened up their general manager spot and it should be an attractive job.

With Rick Spielman and Mike Zimmer no longer running things for the Minnesota Vikings, ownership is tasked with finding the next regime. Despite missing the playoffs in each of the past two seasons, the Vikings still hold a very favorable opening for candidates of both of the roles left behind by Spielman and Zimmer.

Given the other openings that are available – the Chicago Bears are the other big option to keep an eye on – the Vikings stand out. With superstars on offense and a top-15 draft pick in 2022, the right staff can turn this around in a hurry.
