After finishing 8-9, the Minnesota Vikings earned themselves the 12th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Which five positions could they address with that choice?

The Minnesota Vikings hold the 12th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and they currently don’t have a head coach or a general manager. So trying to guess how the Vikings will use that pick is a total and complete mystery.

While we have no past history or tendencies to go off of as Minnesota is starting fresh with a blank slate in the front office, we can still identify some areas the team could address with their first overall choice. The Vikings didn’t make the playoffs this year and that shows that they have plenty of issues to address.

Minnesota’s defense finished near the bottom of the league and definitely could be helped by using the 12th pick, but the offense also has its areas of concern and could be helped early in the first round.

So which five positions the Vikings could address with the 12th pick?
