5 biggest disappointments from the Vikings 2021 season

Losing games that should have been won
Every week, the Minnesota Vikings looked like a team that wasn’t very well prepared for their upcoming game. They would come in with weird strategies like running against a team with a weak pass defense or vice-versa and other interesting game plans that made fans scratch their heads.
Then you had the team playing down to the talent of the teams they were playing against. It didn’t matter if they were facing an elite team or a winless team, Minnesota matched their energy and made nearly every game go down to the wire.
Games would always feel like they would come down to one final drive. This was because the offense didn’t keep their foot on the gas or the defense was in a prevent mode that allowed teams to pick up easy yardage in a hurry.
The frustration of seeing this Minnesota Vikings team not live up to their potential was very difficult to watch. Great teams will get decisive wins at least a few times in a season. Minnesota’s signature wins were a narrow victory over a depleted Packers squad and finally defeating a struggling Seahawks squad.
