Missing the playoffs…again.

Teams overcome adversity all the time. Look at this year’s Las Vegas Raiders. Their team had many, many issues that brought major distractions to the team, yet they were able to find a way to get into the playoffs.

Minnesota couldn’t do that. Despite having amazing talents like Justin Jefferson, Kirk Cousins, Eric Kendricks, Harrison Smith, and numerous others, they ended the season with an 8-9 record and ended up looking forward to the draft while other teams are still fighting for a Super Bowl.

Vikings fans have been more than patient. Although some fans have given up hope on Minnesota hoisting a Lombardi Trophy and having a parade in Minneapolis to celebrate the team, there are still some optimists who truly believe that the next year could finally be the one.

Considering the money and picks invested in this team leading up to the 2021 season, finishing with a losing record and missing the playoffs is not acceptable. Even with a few distractions during the season and a tough schedule, it isn’t enough to excuse the lack of results.
