Bisi Johnson – wide receiver

Excellent play from Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson along with the emergence of K.J. Osborn were enough of a distraction for many fans of the Minnesota Vikings to completely forget that Bisi Johnson missed the entire 2021 season.

He should return to the team for 2022 but he will likely find himself behind those three pass-catchers on the depth chart. That’s not to say that Johnson is a bad receiver. In fact, he can be productive and could fill in as a number four receiver.

Johnson was inconsistent in his first two years in Minnesota after arriving as a seventh-round draft pick. That said, he was still able to average 10.7 yards per catch while having a catch percentage of over 70.

Bisi should be a capable receiver to give the team depth at the position, but he will need to fight for playing time against guys like Ihmir Smith-Marsette or a young draft pick looking to make a name for themselves. But if he can play as he did before his injury, he might be able to stick around.
