Regarded by some as one of the best offensive minds in the NFL, Mike McDaniel is currently in the running to be the next head coach of the Miami Dolphins.
But if the 38-year-old McDaniel doesn’t get the Dolphins job, perhaps Adofo-Mensah will want to meet with the current 49ers offensive coordinator about becoming the next head coach of the Vikings.
DeMeco Ryans is someone who seems to be one of the top candidates to get the Vikings head-coaching job following the hiring of Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. Especially, after the performance Ryans helped the 49ers’ defense have during the team’s divisional-round upset over the Green Bay Packers last week.
He’s already interviewed with Minnesota once for Mike Zimmer’s old job and it would be pretty surprising if he is not among the candidates that the team requests a second interview for.
