Jake Browning, quarterback (Bengals)

This name might not be familiar to a lot of Minnesota Vikings fans, but some may remember him as an undrafted free agent out of Washington who signed with the team following the 2019 NFL Draft and stuck around for three seasons.

Although he never took a regular-season snap for the purple and gold during his time in Minnesota, he spent quite a bit of time on the Vikings practice squad before being released on Aug. 31, 2021, becoming a free agent.

Browning didn’t stay a free agent for long. In fact, it only took a week for the Bengals to scoop him up out of free agency and be signed to their practice squad and he is still part of that unit as of this day.

Cincinnati has a good group of quarterbacks on their 53-man roster. The unit is highlighted by Joe Burrow and has Brandon Allen as their backup. Of course, Burrow has kept pace with some of the NFL’s best on his way to the Super Bowl this year, looking as if he is a megastar in the making.
