Which way could the Minnesota Vikings go with their 2022 NFL Draft selections after another eventful Senior Bowl?

A new era dawns for the Minnesota Vikings after the organization decided to remove head coach Mike Zimmer and general manager Rick Spielman on Black Monday after another season without playoff football. Some would argue that this change of the guard has been a long time coming, but whether Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and Kevin O’Connell can get this team trending in the right direction is another matter.

With little in the way of spare funds to spend in free agency, getting their draft picks right is of paramount importance. The Vikings have plenty of needs and not much wiggle room financially, so the new appointments have a significant amount of work ahead of them in pursuit of making a splash right out of the gate.

Minnesota still has a roster loaded with talent. With a few tweaks, there’s nothing to suggest that they cannot get into NFC North contention if Aaron Rodgers leaves the Green Bay Packers.

NFL teams will have a broader perspective on some exciting draft prospects after a busy week at the 2022 Senior Bowl. It is always one of the more prominent dates in the calendar and this year’s showcase proved to be no exception.

The Vikings were well represented at the event, which saw some key decision-makers get a first-hand look at some prospects of interest. Using The Draft Network’s simulator, we took a look at which way Minnesota might go in the first five rounds in this post-Senior Bowl mock.
