5 potential landing spots for Vikings LB Anthony Barr in 2022

A native of Los Angeles, California, the Chargers and Rams both seem like logical landing spots for Anthony Barr this offseason if he doesn’t re-sign with the Vikings.
When it comes between the two teams that are based in Southern California, however, the chances of Barr ending up with the Chargers seem higher than him joining the Rams.
Why do the Chargers have the edge? Well, for starters, they are projected to have a little over $57 million in cap space when the new league year begins in March. That’s almost $70 million more than the cap space that the Rams are currently projected to have this year (more than $13 million over).
So if the Chargers have an interest in Barr this offseason, they shouldn’t have any problem with finding the money to sign him.
Now, the Chargers do run a 3-4 defensive alignment, and Barr has only played in a 4-3 scheme since he entered the NFL in 2014. However, during his college career at UCLA, the veteran linebacker played in a 3-4 defense, and he performed very well in his role.
