Which prospects on the defensive side of the ball should be moving up the Minnesota Vikings draft board after the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine?
The 2022 NFL Scouting Combine has come to an end and this year’s NFL Draft for the Minnesota Vikings is one step closer to becoming a reality. The offensive players finished up first and already got their time in the spotlight, so now it is time to look at the defensive side of the football.
This draft class is chock full of very talented defensive players and that is a good thing for the Vikings. Their defense was one of the worst in the league a season ago and needs a major infusion of young talent.
They are also switching to a 3-4 front and will need to find players who can fill roles in that system. Minnesota surely kept close tabs on many prospects they already deemed to be good fits for their new scheme. Some of those players knocked their interviews at Indianapolis out of the park, while others, not so much.
We will be focusing on five players who fared well at the Combine and are surely moving up the Vikings draft board after their performances.
