Third-Round Pick:

Ed Ingram, G – LSU

The Minnesota Vikings don’t have a lot of needs on offense. However, they could use some help to compete for spots on the offensive line in order to stabilize the passing game for Kirk Cousins. That’s where Ed Ingram comes into play.

Success has been found by tapping LSU for players in the past, and it shouldn’t be different if the purple and gold select Ed Ingram. As a 6’3, 307-pound interior lineman, he will immediately enter the competition to start at right guard.

Ingram takes up a lot of space thanks to a large frame and big shoulders, He also can create separation using strong strikes and quick shoulder blows to disrupt defenders attacking the offensive line.

As a high IQ player, Ingram is excellent at sniffing out stunts and pulls and can adjust well to maintain blocks while keeping his feet moving and attempting to create space. Unless the Vikings get a free agent guard, this would be an excellent pick for Minnesota.
