Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills aren’t that far away from winning the AFC. If key stars are retained and further quality is added during the offseason, then it might see Josh Allen and company go all the way despite how challenging the AFC looks after a frenzied period of trade activity.

One area where the Bills could use additional assistance is at running back. Zack Moss and Devin Singletary are solid dept pieces that can be used in tandem but acquiring a leading figure such as Davin Cook could enable them to take that next step under Sean McDermott.

There would obviously be a familiar face for Cook in Buffalo after the Minnesota Vikings traded Stefon Diggs to the organization prior to the 2019 campaign. If the wide receiver felt his influence could help get the running back on board, then he’d likely do all he could to assist with the process.

Minnesota’s front office wants to make some waves in their first offseason following the firing of Mike Zimmer and Rick Spielman. But trading Cook with so much of his prime left might not be the best way to go about things.

The urgency among other AFC title hopefuls has only grown over the last week. If the Bills could somehow get their hands on Cook, then it would make their offense virtually unstoppable.
