What players did the Minnesota Vikings sign and relinquish on the unofficial first day of the NFL’s 2022 free agency period?

Before the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament kicks off later this week, the real March Madness began on Monday when the 2022 free agency period unofficially kicked off for the Minnesota Vikings and the rest of the teams around the NFL.

We say unofficially because teams technically aren’t allowed to officially sign players until the new league year begins on Wednesday at 4pm ET.

So Monday marked the first day of legal tampering around the league and multiple teams have reportedly agreed to deals with free agents that are just waiting until Wednesday to be made official.

After a bit of a slow start to the day, the Vikings saw some changes take place with their roster on Monday. Minnesota not only signed a player from another organization, but they also saw some members of their 2021 squad agree to deals with other teams.

So when it came to the Vikings, what took place during the unofficial first day of the 2022 free agency period?
