What players did the Minnesota Vikings sign and relinquish on the third day of the NFL’s 2022 free agency period?

On Wednesday at 4pm ET, the new 2022 league year officially kicked for the Minnesota Vikings and the other 31 teams around the NFL.

With the start of the new league year, all of the recent trades and signings that were recently agreed to became official transactions. For the Vikings, this meant that the deals they gave to defensive tackle Harrison Phillips and linebacker Jordan Hicks earlier this week were able to be signed.

Compared to some other teams around the NFL, Minnesota has been fairly quiet since the 2022 free agency period unofficially began on Monday. However, there’s not much more that the Vikings could have really done anyways since they haven’t had a ton of spending money to throw at any of this year’s top free agents.

Despite their lack of funds, Minnesota still managed to add a few more players to their 2022 roster on Wednesday. Unfortunately, the Vikings also saw one of their top offensive players from 2021 leave for a new team.

So which players wound up with Minnesota on Wednesday and which members of their 2021 roster won’t be returning for next season?
