Tyrann Mathieu – S

2021 Team: Kansas City Chiefs

With Xavier Woods signing with the Carolina Panthers earlier this week, the Vikings could be in need of another safety if they don’t want Camryn Bynum to start next to Harrison Smith during the 2022 season.

Tyrann Mathieu is one of the best safeties that is currently available in free agency. He’s a versatile defensive back that has the ability to line up all over the field, whether it be in the box, on the outside, or in the slot.

Mathieu also has championship experience to offer since he helped the Chiefs reach two Super Bowls and three AFC Championships in the last three seasons.

Quinton Spain – OG

2021 Team: Cincinnati Bengals

Yes, Minnesota already signed someone earlier this week to likely be their utility offensive lineman next season in Austin Schlottmann, but the team could always use more offensive line depth.

Quinton Spain is a blocker that is more skilled than Schlottmann and he is someone the Vikings could bring in to compete for a starting job. Spain started 16 games for the Bengals last season and PFF graded him as the 43rd-best guard in the NFL.
