9 free agents the Vikings could sign before the 2022 NFL Draft

Jaquiski Tartt – S
2021 Team: San Francisco 49ers
Heading into the 2022 NFL Draft, Harrison Smith and Camryn Bynum are projected to open next season as the two starting safeties for the Vikings.
Smith is obviously going to remain in the starting lineup, but Bynum is still a question mark. He showed flashes on the field as a rookie last season. But how well will he adjust to Minnesota’s new defensive scheme?
Jaquiski Tartt is someone who new Vikings general manager Kwesi Adofo Mensah should be quite familiar with from the multiple years they both spent together as members of the 49ers organization.
Adofo-Mensah doesn’t have to bring in Tartt and immediately hand him the starting job next to Smith. But his presence, alone, could help Minnesota get the most out of Bynum just by having him compete to be one of the team’s two starting safeties for next season.
Marquise Goodwin – WR
2021 Team: Chicago Bears
We know Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen are going to get a lot of attention from opposing defenses in the 2022 campaign. So to help take some of the pressure off of Jefferson and Thielen next season, the Vikings could add a burner to their offense like Marquise Goodwin.
Goodwin’s blazing speed (4.27 seconds in the 40-yard dash) would force defenses to take some of their focus off of Jefferson or Thielen, and this would create some easy opportunities for Minnesota’s dynamic receiving duo.
