Teddy Bridgewater will forever be known as one of the biggest what-ifs in the history of the Vikings.
Minnesota traded back into the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft to select Bridgewater. It was a move the Vikings made with the hopes of landing a franchise quarterback.
Bridgewater became a full-time starter in 2015 and he helped lead Minnesota to an 11-5 record and a first-place finish in the NFC North.
Unfortunately, the playoff journey for the Vikings and their young quarterback in 2015 quickly came to a close thanks to the infamous last-second field-goal miss by former Minnesota kicker Blair Walsh in a loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the wild-card round.
During the 2016 offseason, Bridgewater looked like he was getting ready to take a big step in his development as a quarterback. But then he suffered a gruesome knee injury right before the start of the 2016 season.
Luckily, Bridgewater was able to recover from his brutal injury and continue his football career. But the 2015 playoff loss to the Seahawks still remains the last time he started a game in a Vikings uniform.
