Top 10 NFC QBs: Where does Vikings QB Kirk Cousins rank?
By Adam Patrick
2. Aaron Rodgers (Green Bay Packers)
2021 Stats (in 16 games):
- 13-3 record
- 68.9 completion percentage
- 4,115 passing yards
- 37 touchdowns, 4 interceptions
- 101 rushing yards, 3 touchdowns
Aaron Rodgers isn’t getting any younger, and despite this, his level of play feels like it has been getting better during the last two years.
Rodgers was named the NFL MVP for the fourth time in his career last season after he helped lead the Packers to 13 wins while throwing for 4,115 yards, 37 touchdowns, and just four interceptions.
For Vikings fans, it’s annoying to watch someone achieve so much success in an ugly green and yellow jersey. Luckily, Rodgers hasn’t been able to continue his elite-level performances in the playoffs, and this has resulted in some enjoyable early opening matchup exits in the postseason for Green Bay.
Now without Davante Adams to throw to, will Rodgers be able to perform at an MVP level in 2022? Time will tell, but history, unfortunately, says that the success of the All-Pro quarterback will continue during the 2022 season.
