Speaking of not getting any younger, Tom Brady is back for another run at a Super Bowl next season after spending a few weeks as a retired NFL quarterback earlier this year.
It wasn’t much of a surprise when Brady un-retired as quickly as he did since that loss to the Rams in the divisional round of the playoffs last season probably left a bad taste in his mouth.
Brady played at a significantly high level in 2021, and at 44-years-old, how much longer can he keep it up? Helping his chances of maintaining a similar level of performance next season is the fact that Byron Leftwich is returning to the Bucs as the team’s offensive coordinator.
Also helping Brady’s chances of succeeding in 2022 is the fact that he’s just an alien. How else can people explain how a 44-year-old quarterback arguably performed better on the field than any other signal-caller in the NFC last season?
