The Minnesota Vikings cannot make any crucial mistakes in this year’s NFL Draft.

With their sights set on a playoff berth next season, the Minnesota Vikings need to make the most of their upcoming draft selections. Reaching to fill needs and misvaluing prospects will set the team back for the upcoming season and those that ensue.

Kwesi Adofo-Mensah has to right the ship after Rick Spielman left the roster in an interesting spot. With two top-50 draft picks at their disposal, the Vikings have to capitalize on their opportunity and get the roster in a position that can comfortably enter the 2022 season with a chance to make a run in the playoffs.

There are plenty of ways the Vikings can hammer the draft and walk away happy with the results, especially given the abundance of talent that fits their needs on the defensive side of the ball. There are even players that would not need to make an immediate impact and they would still be worth a selection if the board sits a certain way.
