Justin Jefferson – WR

  • No. 22 overall selection

The reactions from Mike Zimmer and Rick Spielman when the Philadelphia Eagles decided to select Jalen Reagor said it all.

Justin Jefferson fell into their laps and the Vikings wasted little time in turning in their card. As it turned out, this was a monumental mistake by the Eagles and something that is set to benefit Minnesota for years to come.

To say Jefferson made his presence felt straight away would be a massive understatement. The wideout torched almost everyone he came up against during an exceptional rookie campaign and backed this up with a phenomenal sophomore year that resulted in 108 receptions, 1,616 receiving yards, and 10 touchdowns.

Jefferson is easily among the elite wideouts after just two years. The scary part is there might be even more to come now that the LSU product has an offensive-minded head coach for the first time.

Draft Grade: A+

The Vikings’ fan base instantly took to Jefferson thanks to his fun-loving demeanor and big-play ability. If the player continues his meteoric rise, he could end up being one of the team’s greatest-ever first-round picks.
