Jameson Williams – WR (Alabama)

Jameson Williams is a touchdown waiting to happen and many would argue that he’s the top pass catcher in the entire 2022 NFL Draft. Williams, unfortunately, tore his ACL in the National Championship Game, but he appears on the fast track to making a full recovery, and he should be able to get on the field during his rookie season.

Williams has good size and elite top-end speed. He can take the top off a defense and is a true home run hitter. He runs very smooth routes and has long, lanky arms that help him go up and high point the football over the outstretched hands of a defender.

It’s horrifying to think the impact he could have if he fell to the Green Bay Packers at pick 22 or if they packaged both of their first-rounders to move up to get him. Aaron Rodgers would have a field day using this kid not just on long balls, but throwing outs, screens, and those back shoulder fades that are uncoverable.

That would be a lethal combination and one that would help the Packers once again defend their NFC North crown, despite the Vikings and Lions being improved this upcoming season.
