In less than a week, the Minnesota Vikings will be adding some brand new members to their roster when the 2022 NFL Draft gets underway.

The arrival of some of these new players could result in the Vikings moving on from a few guys that are currently on their roster.

We have to remember that there are a bunch of Minnesota players from the Mike Zimmer and Rick Spielman era that are still around. The Vikings’ new regime, led by general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and head coach Kevin O’Connell, has no attachment to any player that was with the team in 2021 or before.

During the next few months, O’Connell and Adofo-Mensah are going to make decisions that they feel will put Minnesota in the best position to compete next season. Some of their choices could even result in a fan-favorite player being shown the door.
