What the Vikings can expect from Andrew Booth Jr. and Ed Ingram
By Dean Jones
What can the Minnesota Vikings expect from Andrew Booth Jr. and Ed Ingram, their two second-round picks in the 2022 NFL Draft?
It was an eventful start to Day 2 of the 2022 NFL Draft for the Minnesota Vikings, who did a deal with the Green Bay Packers to acquire more capital before moving up to finally get themselves a cornerback with starting potential.
Andrew Booth Jr. and Ed Ingram were the two selections made by the Vikings in Round No. 2. Both come into the league with some very likable traits and it would be a big surprise if they didn’t end up making an immediate contribution throughout the upcoming campaign.
There is still plenty of meat on the bone for the new regime in Minnesota. Day 3 is another big chance for the organization to acquire some valuable rotational guys, but in Booth and Ingram’s case, expectations will be much higher from the word go.
Trading with two NFC North rivals – for primary wide receiving threats, no less – is one of the stranger moves made by the Vikings so far. But it’s hard to look at their first three draft picks with anything other than optimism based on their college production.
Without further ado, we took an in-depth look at Booth and Ingram to see what they might be able to offer the Vikings in 2022 and beyond.
