Minnesota seems content is having Greg Joseph as their kicker. They didn’t pick one during the 2022 NFL Draft and then didn’t grab one as an undrafted free agent. Since he was solid as a kicker last year, it makes sense to stay with him.

Jordan Berry isn’t as fortunate. The Vikings signed undrafted free agent Ryan Wright and he will be there to compete for the job. It will be an interesting battle to watch, but consistency as a holder might give Berry the advantage even if Wright proves to have a bigger leg.

People only seem to care about the long snapper until something goes wrong. Andrew DePaola was good last year and didn’t do anything to need to be replaced. Minnesota rewarded that by giving him no competition.

Consistency on the special teams trip is important. Bringing back all three of these players would be smart unless another player can step in and prove they are better for the job. At the moment, nobody has done that.
