The 2022 NFL Draft is in the books. Here are a few things we learned about the Vikings’ new general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah during it.

It’s early May and that means one thing, the NFL Draft has come and gone. This was the first one in about 15 years where the Vikings weren’t led or influenced by Rick Spielman. Kwesi Adofo-Mensah was hired back in January to be the new general manager and this was his first draft where he was in charge and making the calls.

Kwesi’s first draft was pretty much seen universally as a solid one. It has been graded anywhere from a C+ to an A- and grading drafts is a futile exercise, getting mostly positive feedback from draft analysts is a positive thing.

While we can’t assume what happened in this draft will be the norm, and that Kwesi will approach future drafts the same way he did this one, we definitely can take some things away from this, and now have a better idea of what to expect in the future.
