He is a Smooth Operator

Whether you loved or hated his picks, there’s no doubt that when Kwesi holds a post-draft press conference it’s almost impossible not to be convinced what he did was right, or be swayed from your prior beliefs about the choice.

This guy is just a natural in front of a mic and is so well-spoken and passionate, that he may have a future in politics. Hearing him talk about these players and why they decided to choose them and how they will fit in with his vision for the Vikings was truly mesmerizing.

One could’ve thought the Brian Asamoah pick was too early, or that maybe going with a linebacker in Round 3 instead of a wide receiver or tight end was a nutty move, but once Kwesi begins talking it is easy to see why they went that direction, and be 100% on board with it.

The guy truly believes every choice they made was the right one and the fact he is so articulate about the reasoning separates him from many other general managers in the league, and some that have come before him. Kwesi is one smooth dude, and while we already had a sense of that with some of his introductory press conferences, the NFL Draft backed up that belief.
